Nathan grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and graduated from Hampshire College with a BA, concentration in Social Theory of the Built Environment. He worked as a designer and lived in Brooklyn, New York, for 17 years prior to making his home in the Catskill/Mid-Hudson Valley region. He has been making pottery since 2001.
Nathan makes, ornate, decorative, ceramic objects such as tableware and tile. His subject matter includes florals, animals, and the male figure.
